About

Kelp Hub started as a shared note between two friends who kept swapping screenshots of games they'd found while traveling without data. One of us was always underground on the metro, the other kept flying with airplane mode on, and both of us were tired of installing something that turned out to need a constant connection. So we decided to keep a proper list, and that list slowly turned into this site.,We only cover games that work without internet. That rule shapes everything. A title can be gorgeous, but if it throws up a login screen the moment the signal drops, it doesn't make the catalog. We play each game for several sessions, on more than one device when we can, and we take notes on how it feels after the novelty wears off.,The reviews are opinions, not verdicts handed down from on high. We tell you what we liked, what annoyed us, and who the game is really for. If a puzzle game gets repetitive by level thirty, we say so. If a small RPG surprised us with its writing, we say that too.,Nobody pays us to put a game on the list. We pick what we play, and we play what looks interesting or what readers point us toward. The site stays small on purpose so we can actually finish the games we talk about.
