Coin Strike
Coin Strike is one of those games that explains itself in about four seconds and then keeps you busy for far longer than you expected. You drag back from a coin, aim a line across the board, release, and watch physics do the rest. Pieces slide, clack into each other, and tumble off the edges. The whole thing runs offline with no fuss, which is exactly why it ended up at the top of our list this month.
Control is all touch, and it's forgiving in a good way. There's a thin trajectory guide that helps on early stages, and it fades out on the harder boards so you have to feel out the angles yourself. The difficulty creeps up through layouts that force bank shots and combos rather than pure aim, and that's where it got genuinely fun for us. A clean break that clears half the board in one shot feels great every time.
We played it in short bursts, which is how it's clearly meant to be enjoyed. There's a steady supply of new boards, a stars-per-level system to chase if you want a reason to replay, and a calm soundtrack that doesn't wear out. It won't change your life, but it's a satisfying little thing to keep on the phone.
